Take a Trip to Tennessee!

Posted on

Hey, Camp Folks!

It’s always the right time of year to start thinking about the camp you’ll be attending this upcoming summer! That’s why I like to feature the summer camps with whom we’ve formed a great relationship here at Everything Summer Camp. Today, we’re shining our summer camp spotlight to the southeast so I can tell you about Camp Marymount.

Camp Marymount sits in simplicity on 340 acres of beautiful middle Tennessee land. Offering hiking trails and spring-fed streams, the campgrounds feature Lever Lake for fun in the water as well as beautiful, rustic facilities which are nothing short of complementary in this gorgeous natural setting. Camp Marymount delivers the fun in the summer!

Aside from all the Water Sports, Canoeing, Fishing, Paddle Boarding, and Trampoline fun you can have in the lake, Marymount offers a plethora of choices for the camp activities you can do such as Archery, Arts & Crafts, Nature, Wrestling, Riflery, Horseback Riding, Wilderness Awareness, Gardening, Frisbee Golf, Weird Science, Athletics, Yard Games, Tomahawk Toss, and much more!

With awesome open spaces and buildings that are accommodating for the community of campers that come and fill them up each summer, Marymount boasts excellent decks for nice gathering spots, an open-air/screened lodge with a fireplace, a pavilion with picnic tables to seat 200 during barbecues, an outdoor chapel, a great dining hall, and cabins galore!

Altogether, Marymount has 22 cabins—4 cabins with heat and air conditioning for year round use and 18 rustic, open-air/screened cabins for campers. These cabins really bring home the romance of summer camp living!

Join the generations of Camp Marymount campers that have come before you and become a Marymount camper yourself! If you like the way this camp sounds, look into it more by checking out their website sometime and, as always, thanks for reading!
