Hey, Camp Fans!
It’s that time of year again! Yes, it’s sad to say goodbye to another camp season, but at least now you get to look back on all the fun! That’s what the Everything Summer Camp ‘Share Your Camp Story’ Contest is all about! Yesterday we announced JW as the first of our six $50 winners. And, now, I’m about to announce our second winner.
For today’s winner we have Sadie S.! Congratulations! You’re our second $50 prize winner! Sadie wrote in to tell us about her camp experience at Camp Harlam. Here’s her submission:

In addition to this handwritten piece she wrote us, Sadie shared a few more thoughts with us that she dictated to her mother (thanks for the help, Stacey!):
The most memorable thing about camp was making it to the top of the huge wooden tower. The reason that’s so special is because my whole bunk cheered me on and made me feel more confident.
Another thing is color run because it was fun getting hit by colors and then getting washed off in the freezing cold hose with my friends. I even found some bags of colors I could throw.
I also liked camper free choice because I got to go around camp with no staff and I liked that we got to have a buddy to be with. I liked being in the camp play. We got to eat before anyone else. I also liked MTV Night because I liked dancing with my bunk. Those are the most memorable things at camp.
Thanks for this entry, Sadie! Sounds like there's a lot of fun and friends at Camp Harlam! I'm glad you got even more out of camp than just the fun times and making friends but that feeling of freedom and gaining confidence as well! Camp really is amazing that it actually helps kids start maturing. Nice work this summer, Sadie.
