Hey, Camp Fans!
Here at Everything Summer Camp, we work with more than 270 camps and we’re eager to share what excellent camps each and every one of them is. Today we’re shining our summer camp spotlight over to the lovely state on the upper eastern coast, Vermont. Let me tell you about a magical place called Aloha Hive and show you around for a little virtual tour.
Aloha Hive is a traditional overnight summer camp for girls that welcomes campers from 7 to 12 years old. Sitting on more than 400 acres, Aloha Hive is made of forest trails, meadows, and barns along with their open-air buildings. Escape to Aloha Hive where you can lose yourself along the shores of Vermont’s Lake Fairlee.
There’s always something fun to do at Aloha Hive. They offer Archery, Arts and Crafts, Basketball, Farm & Garden, Gymnastics, High Ropes Course, Horseback Riding, Lacrosse, Music, Performing Arts, Rounders, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, and Wilderness. Have a fun splish and splash with available Canoeing, Kayaking, Sailing, and Swimming Lessons.
At Camp Aloha Hive, the campers are treated to living under spacious tents on wooden platforms or the rustic cabins on the grounds. Between three to five campmates live together as well as one or two cabin leaders. ‘Units’ of ten tents and cabins share a washhouse equipped with indoor plumbing for hot water showers and toilets.
The Director and senior cabin leaders are careful in putting together the groups that will stay together—these are the people who will bond the most with each other. Aloha Hive prides itself in providing each and every camper with the environment that best suits their individual preferences and needs.
