Since the kids don't have access to electronics at camp, they have a lot more free time! Consider sending bracelet making string in a plastic container with lots of colors. They will be able to share with their new friends and will improve their abilities by learning new stitches.

This year, my daughter brought a huge pallet of eye shadows in lots of colors. She also brought q-tips to keep it hygienic so others could use it too. She was the most popular girl on any day where people wanted to look nice and on color war day!

MAD LIBS rule!!! I have been going through a big book of mad libs for a couple of years now and they are awesome on rainy days because everyone can do it together.

Bringing themed items (ex: glow sticks for the glow party) for your whole cabin is a great way to bond and get everybody in on the fun!
