Packing Cubes: Stay Organized

Posted on

Packing cubes, packing cubes, packing cubes!
Great when packing for camp, great for staying organized at camp. Cubes make it easy to get dressed every morning, get ready for various activities like swimming and Shabbat dinners, put away laundry after it is returned.

Pack socks in the horseback riding helmet. More things you can stuff the better!

If you are going to camp for the first time, you will probably get homesick. I know I did! I was young the first time I went, but anyone, even older kids, can get homesick! If you get homesick at camp, going and talking to a counselor that has been to camp before, or an older camper can help! I also recommend brining pictures from home or a stuffed animal, but only if you won’t be upset if it gets lost!

Pack Extra Clothing

Don’t pack anything in your kids’ trunks that you will be devastated if they don’t return with it or if it’s ruined upon return. Camp is messy, kids are disorganized and lose things easily and camp probably launders all of their clothes together in hot or warm water.  (Pre wash reddish colored items several times at home before packing if they’re new!)

Packing Cubes Make A Tidy Trunk

For packing your trunk, use packing cubes! They keep things need and tidy and it's easy to find what you need in a pinch.
