Color Coordinating Packing Cubes

Posted on

I love using packing cubes to pack my children. Each child has a set of packing cubes in different colors so that I know whose are whose without having to think about it. I put all the pants in one cube, all the shirts and tanks in another, socks, underwear, and bras in another, swimwear and towels in another...etc.
When they get to camp, they use the cubes until the first laundry so they never have to unpack! It also makes for a neat and organized bunk...for awhile anyways!

Floor Mats

Floor mat or bath mat is an absolute must next to your child’s bunk!! The kids kick off their shoes and we know how dirty their feet can get! My daughter said it was so nice to wipe them off before climbing into her bed!

Pack Comfy, Old Clothes

Posted on

While we did have to buy some new things, we didn’t go crazy buying a ton of new clothing! We packed comfy old t shirts and shorts and encouraged our daughter to play and get dirty!

Quick Dry Towels

Posted on

We sent one of those new quick dry towels with our daughter to camp! These towels are so amazing because they are thin, take up hardly any room and dry in such a short amount of time as compared to a regular pool/beach towel!

Drawstring Backpacks

Posted on

We noticed a “drawstring backpack” wasn’t on the packing list, but we sent one with our daughter anyway! She said this was one of the best things she had and enabled her to carry around her water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, flashlight, etc. I love that it kept her hands free but also that bug spray and sunscreen was readily available to her for re application!
