Use clothing cubes so when your child goes rummaging through their trunks the clothes don't go everywhere the first day.

I know a lot of kids this age love wearing name brand clothing. Lululemon in particular is a huge favorite. The camp laundry is known for losing or mixing up clothes. Either label your clothes VERY WELL or consider keeping favorite things at home. Remember, if a child opens their laundry to find a few choice Lululemon pants that don't belong to them, chances are they will think they won the lottery, not find their owner!

I love using packing cubes to pack my children. Each child has a set of packing cubes in different colors so that I know whose are whose without having to think about it. I put all the pants in one cube, all the shirts and tanks in another, socks, underwear, and bras in another, swimwear and towels in another...etc.
When they get to camp, they use the cubes until the first laundry so they never have to unpack! It also makes for a neat and organized bunk...for awhile anyways!

Packing clothing groups (tshirts, pajamas. Shirts) in jumbo slider storage bag makes packing and unpacking easier.

Separate outfits into ziplock bags for easy grabbing of them each day and to avoid overpacking!
