Try new activities at camp even if you are feeling scared or nervous. The counselors will help you!

Embrace the Outdoors

Posted on

Not everything is perfectly clean and organized, so there will be bugs ( bring bug spray), and don't mind if you can't wash your hands before every meal, also if you forget to bring hair conditioner or something to the bathroom, just don't (your counselors will be mad if you hold up the shower line by going back to your cabin). You should be thankful if you get put in a cabin with a shower inside it😉!

Birthdays at Camp

Posted on

Camp has always been an amazing experience for me. My birthday happens to fall in the middle of the second week at camp and I found I do get homesick because I am not at home with my friends and family but camp birthdays are the best! If your birthday is during camp don’t spend it sad and homesick try to do something to cheer you up because after all it’s your special day!

Pack for Theme Days

Does your camp do theme days? Be sure to pack shirts for every color in the rainbow so you can coordinate with your cabin mates for special events, skits, dance, song contest . . . and don't forget your camp logo'd T's & sweatshirts! Best way to show your camp spirit!
