When gearing up for unforgettable adventures, your camper needs a backpack that grows with them. The Osprey Ace 65 is designed for young explorers heading on multi-day hikes, summer camp excursions, and backpacking trips. With an adjustable torso that expands up to 5 inches, this pack ensures a perfect fit as they grow, delivering lasting comfort for years to come.
Built with the same award-winning LightWire frame as Osprey’s adult packs, the Ace 65 distributes weight evenly, keeping loads stable while minimizing strain. The padded shoulder harness, mesh-covered ridged foam back panel, and adjustable hip belt provide all-day comfort for long treks and uphill climbs.
Organization is key, and this pack delivers with a separate sleeping bag compartment, large mesh front pocket, and multiple side and hip belt pockets for easy access to must-have gear. Whether your camper needs a spot for their water bottle, flashlight, or extra layers, everything stays in its place.
Adventure doesn’t stop for bad weather. The Ace 65 includes a built-in rain cover that stows in its own external pocket, keeping gear dry when the skies open up. Built from durable nylon ripstop fabric, this pack is tough enough for rugged trails, unexpected rain, and everything camp life throws its way.

Torso Sizing
Our Backpack from offer adjustability to fit a range of people with different heights and proportions; this way, your Osprey Backpack can still fit through a growth spurt or two. So how do you know what's right for your height and proportion? First, you'll want to know your torso length. To determine your measurement, see the diagram below.
This measurement starts at the iliac crest, which is the top of your hipbone on the side of your body that acts like a shelf. From this point, measure to the C7 vertebra, the knobby bone at the base of your neck when you put your head down.
The Ace 65 is designed to fit a range of measurements. If your measurement comes in at somewhere between 14 - 18" (35.5 to 45.7 cm), then this Pack can be adjusted to comfortably fit you.
To determine hipbelt size, measure around the hips, at the iliac crest, not the waist. The padded portion should wrap well around the hips, leaving a gap of 3" to 6" between the tips of both hip pads when securely tightened.
