Print
LidSkinz designs were originally a simple print on vinyl. We used to feed the vinyl printout through our laminate machine. Then each LidSkinz was HANDCUT with a pair of scissors! We’ve since graduated to printing directly onto the material of our trunk exterior. As you can imagine, different materials receive and maintain a print with a wide range of results. We’ve tried various, aluminums, and hard plastics. Now we’re printing on steel—the same material as the rest of the trunk panels!
Paint
When it comes to decorating your trunk, it’s hard to top a LidSkinz! One route is to have your trunk painted by a professional. But having your trunk painted means sending it off somewhere else once it arrives. LidSkinz are a much better method. With this method, you’ll receive your trunk from us with the decoration installed—DONE! They’re less expensive than paint. They’re more durable than paint. And, should you decide you don’t want it anymore (or want to create a new design) it is removable.
