The Lid Stay can be found inside the trunk on the right side. The Lid Stay holds the trunk lid up when it's open. It also prevents the lid from swinging back too far. The Lid Stay is held in place with two rivets.

This part replaces RP33

What's in the replacement kit:

  • (1) Wrench

Perfect replacement for the old lid stay. It was so helpful to have all of the parts needed, including the drill bit and wrench. Love the lifetime guarantee on these trunks!

Footlocker Repair

So, what can I say? The warranty on these footlockers are without peer! My son has had his footlocker since 2006 when the company was known as C&N Mfg. and if anybody can kill equipment it's Jonathan. Finally, the lid stay broke after 16 years of use and abuse! I contacted Everything Summercamp and they sent one out to me immediately! Very few companies can challenge their service! Over the past 18 years I have purchased 5 footlockers with the latest one for my granddaughter for this Christmas! Don't mind spending hard earned money for a quality product! Thank you for your product and thank you for your service! Until the next grandchild! Duke
