Hey, Camp Fans!
The camp season is over for most of you. Still, it’s never too early to start considering where you’ll send your camper for the next summer season. Whether they’re going for the first time or looking for a change-up in the camp experience, taking the steps to exploring how well a camp will suit your child is one of the most crucial parts of a successful camp stay.
And just for that very reason, we like to highlight the summer camps with whom we’ve formed great relationships. Today, let’s shine our Camp Spotlight on Camp Mo Ranch.
Sitting on 500 acres along the spring-fed Guadalupe River in the heart of Texas’ stunning Hill Country in the town of Hunt, Camp Mo-Ranch is more than just summer camp—open for spiritual retreats, conferences, day camps, weddings, reunions, vacation getaways, and more. Their summer camp program, however, is what we’re interested in!
Their one-week session shows kids a jam-packed summer stay with exciting activities like Archery, Arts & Crafts, Canoeing, Critter Classes, Games, High Ropes, Mountain Biking, Nature Hikes, Sports, Swimming, and so much more! Camp Mo Ranch summer campers are encouraged to grow their Christian faith with Bible studies and worship. Of course, there’s plenty of time at Mo Ranch for playing silly songs, crazy camp traditions, campfires, s’mores, and making new friends!
Loma Linda is the air-conditioned headquarters, laid out with four separate living areas with bunk beds as well as community bathrooms. Campers are assigned to groups by age. The girls sleep on the top floor and the boys on the bottom floor of Loma Linda. The building also houses the nurse’s station in the top floor lobby for easy access when needed.
