Hey, Camp Families!
It goes without saying here at Everything Summer Camp, that we love camp. I mean…just look at our name! We truly want to ensure that each and every camper that visits our site gets the absolute most out of their summer camp experience. That’s partly on us because kids need the proper apparel and equipment with which to go camping. But a lot of that responsibility falls to the camp which is why we only work with the best of the best summer camps.
Camp Lonehollow is one of those camps.
There, they welcome kids to 3000 acres of deeply nestled Texas Hill Country—less than two hours west of San Antonio. With over 60 activities offered there, Camp Lonehollow shows kids an awesome summer stay.
Lonehollow campers are given the opportunities for Overnight Camping Trips as well as traditional sports such as Archery, Basketball, Cross Country, Field Sports, Fishing, Flag Football, Golf, Horseback Riding, Lacrosse, Rockwall, Soccer, Softball, Table Tennis, Tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, and more! They make a splash on the Waterfront every summer with activities like Canoeing, Kayaking, Paddle boarding, Sailing, SCUBA Diving, Snorkeling, Swimming, and more!
And they have studios where sessions are held for Camp Crafts, Ceramics, Drama, Fused Glass, Glee, Guitar, Hip-Hop Dance, Illusions, Jewelry-Making, Journalism, Leather Works, Music, Photography, Radio DJ, Sewing/Knitting, Sketching, & Painting, Weight Training, Woodworking, Videography, and more!
Campers at Lonehollow set up home base inside natural rock cabins where they sleep on custom-built cedar bunk beds with pillow-top mattresses to make for cozy nights. Designed with adequate storage space as well, Lonehollow cabins comfortably fit 15 campers or less (depending on which cabin) as well as two or three cabin leaders.
If Lonehollow sounds like it might be a good fit for you, look into it further! You can get all the details you need on their website. Give them a visit sometime and learn all you can about this fantastic camp and do what you can to see that your kid get the most out of the summer camp experience! As always, thanks for reading.
