With a name that begs the question, ‘What’s that mean?’ (they get that a lot), the brand name breaks down like this: M-POWER-D. The ‘M’ and the ‘D’ stand for Micro and Design and they sandwich Power in between. The name is almost a little mission statement from the company. ‘Micro,’ for simple and portable products. ‘Power’ for their environmentally friendly technology. And ‘Design’ since their creations are products of form and function. Also, when combined, the name resembles a word that this company was built upon: making folks feel empowered. Always fans of sustainability, they’re methods are conscious of the impact they have on the environment! This brand name saw its start in 2012 when principal inventor Jason Alan Snyder created Luci, the first inflatable solar light. Since then, they’ve mastered their craft, engineering solar powered products that can retain charge for incredible lengths!
