A job offer in another state required this footlocker to fly in the cargo hold.. Although the wheels were damaged, the footlocker itself was unscathed.
Imagine my surprise to learn that there are replacement parts sold separately. Customer service was amazing. I literally felt like a family member when I called. I was able to use a cc to complete my order via phone in less than 10 minutes w/o being transferred!
The wheels arrived in 3 days and the replacement was completed in about 6 minutes.
Please note that my footlocker is over 10 years old and the new wheels were a perfect fit.
In an era where nearly everything seems disposable , these footlockers can go from the camp to college w/ ease *IF* u have these wheels. This footlocker ia currently in service as a first apartment coffee table/ ironing board. I cant think of any other item that my kid has kept for this long that is still in use other than his vehicle. Thank u so much to Everything summercamp(& beyond) for making such a quality product and combining it with superior customer service. !
(Future grandparents note:: Plz purchase these wheels @ the point of sale. I (50+ yrs old) struggled to move the fully packed trunk w/o wheels. This trunk is VERY sturdy/heavy even when empty but it seemed much lighter when I originally purchased it several years prior. Grow old gracefully, your back will thank you on camp/college move in days)
