You don't need as much as you think you do. The campers often wear shirts/ shorts etc more than once. Don't overpack!

I always leave a few packages/pieces of mail in the main office to be delivered to my daughter with dates on them. In one I always add a few things to share with the campers - glow sticks, funky sunglasses, maybe a game to play etc. My daughter often says she thinks it helps the cabin bond a little. I like this one to be delivered on day two!

Iron on name tags have saved my son from losing so many things other than clothes. I even put them on his shoes. I know with my son it was necessary since he was sent with rain boots too.

I know a lot of kids this age love wearing name brand clothing. Lululemon in particular is a huge favorite. The camp laundry is known for losing or mixing up clothes. Either label your clothes VERY WELL or consider keeping favorite things at home. Remember, if a child opens their laundry to find a few choice Lululemon pants that don't belong to them, chances are they will think they won the lottery, not find their owner!
